"We'll Cover Our Heads and Drink Heavily Into the Night..."

We have a chick! Its mama hatched it out this morning! Which was unbelievably stupid and it had to be rescued, but that's okay.

We named it Jol, because it's a Christmas chick. It is living in a box on the counter and we set the heat lamp up, but it gets lonely easy so Maria put a glove in with it and it is in love with said glove. It also loves Aunt Jeanie and will perch on her finger without getting scared.

Wonderful surprise. ^_^ Its mama was one of the aracaunas, because it has little cheek muffs. Cutest thing ever.
