TOM. PAPER. HELP.
Meanwhile, it's midterms. Everyone is crazy busy, and
the_choroplast is sick (actually, everyone is sick; including most of the concert choir, which will be touring France in three days. It is kind of hilarious watching them flail, God I am a horrible person). I am tired all the time, typically.
I have come down with an odd sort of ennui, at a very inconvenient time, but am trying to press on anyway. I cancelled my doctor's appointment to-day so I could get work done, and then failed to do so, but at least I think I'm ready for the o.chem test, so that was nice to realise. I have a few more practise tests to do; and I need to study more for sosh, although given that it is running my soul through a paper shredder I kind of don't want to.
I think as soon as I post this I will a) run down the hall and see if Michelle is still alive; and b) maybe watch a film and pretend to relax.
True conversation:
Soujin: Hi, I'd like to cancel my appointment for to-day, if that's all right.
Receptionist: Can I ask what's going on in your life right now that you need to cancel?
Soujin: I have no money to pay the co-pay.
Receptionist: ...Oh. Well, ordinarily we would charge you for not notifying us twenty-four hours in advance, but I'll just give you a warning this time.
Soujin: Thanks very much. --Hey, that was nice of them.
Michelle: ...Well, YEAH, it kind of wouldn't work to charge you a missed fee when you just told them you have NO MONEY.
Soujin: ...True.
