Sibyl had never played Miranda before, but she loved her lines. Miranda was a beautiful, innocent darling of a girl. She was ready to perform better than she ever had in her life. As she entered at her cue, a girl in the audience wearing pink bounced up and stared at her with such delighted eyes that Sibyl giggled. It spoiled her entrance entirely. She wasn't sorry at all.
