yuletide Santa:
I am super super excited because this is my first ever go at Yuletide. Anyway, I put down three fandoms.
Arthurian: I love Arthuriana, and I love Gaheris/Mordred. >_> Mostly I like the weird dynamic between them, and how Gaheris is not really stable but deeply devoted to Mordred, and Mordred kind of but not quite understands how Gaheris works. Also, I have a squick for Gaheris/Morgause, in case that comes up. It really creeps me out.
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight: Bertilak/Gawain/Bertilak's Lady makes such a great threesome! It really does. You have no idea. Or, well, probably you do, since you got stuck with this. Something I love about Gawain is how he's deeply passionate but also kind of dorky and very chivalrous. He likes sex but doesn't like to talk about it. I hate the characterisations of Gawain as this crude uncivilised lecher, which I know is a portrayal that shows up in a lot of modern (post-vulgate influenced) Arthurian writing, like Rosalind Miles (Rosalind Miles makes me want to vomit). So I guess I would really like it if a fic about them played up that sweetness in Gawain's character that makes him so appealing.
Westmark: The poor kids in Westmark are so messed up. Oh man. Florian and Zara especially, because she's so angry and he's so secretly manipulative even when he doesn't mean to be. I know that there's no way to write this that doesn't involve angst, so it's okay if it turns out really sad. They are a sad couple, that's just how it works. Honestly I'll love anything you write, I think I singlehandedly write most of the Westmark fic out there.
Arthurian again: GWEN/AGRAVAIN. No really, it's so easy to see, right? :D Because he is all gruff and women-hating and doesn't know how to play by the rules, except at the beginning he used to think she was an actual good woman, and then she started sleeping with Lancelot and disillusioned him and his chance at being open was broken and guh. This is kind of my secret favourite dark horse pairing. Um. Since I guess you probably have to bear in mind Agravain's personality type, I would like to say that I'm pretty squicked by non-con. Other than that, nothing really. I just really want someone to write this for me. ^__^
I am so excited! I promise I will really love anything you write. It is not easy to disappoint me. Also, it's okay if stuff is short. I know you can pack a whole lot of meaning into a short piece, so I'm not worried about length.
