Whoever Dances is One with the Universe

I am so flattered I really don't know what to say. This was one of those stories that was so much fun for me to write--a lot of my stories are not fun for me to write because I don't feel like the words want to come out right, or I just have to do a lot of forcing to get a story that I even half-like, and then usually a few days later I hate it anyway--but this is one that I wrote back in November and still feel really pleased about. So it makes me extremely happy to know that you liked it so much. Also I have wanted to write a good Bible fic ever since I read Little Dogs, which you may or may not have read; which was somebody I don't remember's really beautiful expansion on the story of the woman who asked Jesus to heal her child, and he says 'Why should the dogs get the food meant for the children?' and she says 'Even the dogs get the scraps' and he's all 'okay yeah you're right that was lame of me' and heals her kid.

I swear to God, I'm almost done with the manuscript for my book of poetry, and then I really will start trying to send it to publishers. >_>
