Meeting with the Asst. Dean inconclusive. Definitely going home this weekend, though.

On an entirely different note, our school's production of The Vagina Monologues was cancelled because, according to the person doing the organising, it isn't inclusive enough: it doesn't let males help out or participate. So instead she's putting together a pro-woman show of some kind that anyone can participate in. I politely declined to be involved because I am mildly bothered by this decision. Somehow it seems like it's missing the point.

I like the new LJ header.

One paper done, one bibliography done; three papers left. Two of them are due to-morrow. Ha, ha, ha.

I wrote an entire rant about the Vagina Monologues and my various issues with the show, and then decided you really don't need to be bothered with all my silliness, so I will just give you lots of hugs and good wishes.

And I really need to find a better "hugs and love" icon of some sort. Michael and Fiona just aren't cutting it.

Oh, no, I'd be interested in hearing. I think it has some issues, but I feel weird talking about my opinions without knowing someone else's first. :P I performed in it last year, but I got a fairly laid-back monologue, since mine was the "My boyfriend loves my vagina and that makes me happy :D :D :D :D" one.

I think th eonly recourse is to write a 17 hour play entitled "the genital monologues" in which every possible permutation of solo sexuality is included. Even the ones which people are hesitant to include now, such as triple otherkin, a concept I just invented. That way, no noe will ever be able to prevent a production of it.

SOMETHING will eventually win against the censors! this is not an allegory this is me talking utter nonsense that I immediately realized could be mistaken for a metaphor, which is really not the same as an allegory, but you know what I'm getting at which is that I'm not getting at what it sounds like I'm getting at

I imagine that the badcodeshiftyfaces were an intentional aspect of the text, acknowledging that code limits our interactions with uhm I don't even know
