You know, the problem with getting one's eggs from one's own chickens is that one tends not to gather them as regularly as one ought.

And then one randomly cracks an egg into a bowl.

And then there is blood and murdered chick all over the place. And it puts one off one's lovely omelet.

Chickens are actually okay, when they're not flogging or biting or scratching up the garden. And the cheeps are cute.
