psalm_onethirtyone: (Nemo: WTF?)
It is just as cold, here, to-day, in my little town, as it is in Juneau, Alaska.

WHAT is wrong with this picture?

*mutters rebelliously*

...I'm going to make myself some nice, toasty wax beans now, and fume. I want nice weather, demmit! Nice!

Rrrgh.

Ngggh. While I sit here, in a panic, waiting to see what in hell A. and N. are going to do:

a. Post a list of 15 fandoms.
b. Have your friends list guess your favourite character from each one (only Soujin shall only do ten, because she hasn't got fifteen fandoms).
c. When guessed, bold the line, include the character name, and write a sentence about why you like that character.

1. Les Miserables:
2. Phantom of the Opera: The Persian. Yes, indeed. ^_^ He is curious and spicy and so demned slashy very infinitely the yay-ful character, and I love his hat. Also, he's the only really sensible person. :P
3. Assorted Jules Verne Novels: Pencroff! I love his hat, too--besides, he is altogether too concerned with funny little things like his tobacco and his wheat field, and he and Ayrton make the sweetest couple since anyone else already mentioned here. ^^
4. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Jekyll. But of course. He's got such wonderful character possibilities, and he makes my geeky little heart full-up with delight; also, his hair is fun and he wibbles; and of course I love his source material madly.
5. Lemony Snicket:
6. Horatio Hornblower: M'man Orrock. Oh, come on. In honour of him we long ago coined the phrase 'It rocks like an Orrock'. He has the accent and the pretty and the smart and the name and gahhh. He's Orrock.
7. 1776:
8. Notre-Dame de Paris: Pierre [Gringoire]. Ohhh. What isn't there to love about Pierre? He's got the most wonderful, silly, overdone, self-absorbed way of speaking, and yet he's very concerned about other persons; he's funny and clever, and he's got an infinite number of slash possibilities (Djali/Gringoire OTP!)... Besides, Bruno Pelletier has a gorgeous voice.
9. Westmark:
10. and for something completely different... Fushigi Yuugi:

It is very sad that I had to struggle even to come up with ten. Waugh.

...Heh. I really need to go up and treadmill, or I shan't get it done before dinner; and that would be inexpressibly bad. Well, off I'll go,then, as soon as the music ends. It's actually warmed up rather nicely, but I must know more about the MED.

The Year in Photobucket Review:

OMG. Remember this picture? *dies* It's baby!Soujin with cracker jack and moustache. Hee.

I also found Waen's old picture of Tarot!Courfeyrac. I found the Eponine one, too.

And here's beautiful pale Harbert and wonderful Pencroff and the picture of Nemo from which my icon comes.

Here's icon!Soujin, and here's my Jules Verne/Tchaikovsky shirt.

Captain Nemo!

Remember this meme? I loved this meme.

Of course, there's Sam, and here's The Child of the Cavern: the icon I made.

About this time, I read Moby-Dick; then I got fond of e. e. cummings a bit before that.

I also modelled, of course.

Never forgetting Notre-Dame de Paris; and finally, I got my watch and moved back into my summer room.

A whole year. ^_^ Wow. I am such a dork.

There is nothing to make a girl happy like knowing the spring is coming and she can eat ice cream pops. Yay for good-tasting diet food. *g*

Also, N. and A. may finally be coming 'round. Oh, please, God.

icons! )

Do you think I could have the happy one? I like the happy one.

*is like Rosencrantz and pinwheels, yes*

N. and A. are finally acting sensibly. A. pounced. As it were.

Still have one box of chocolate-dipped shortbread cookies, if anyone wants to purchase. $Five-fifty altogether, to meet me on postage and $three-fifty for the cookies.

To-morrow Wednesday. Eep. I am working on a new dietary project now, namely Can Soujin Eat on Wednesdays?. In the interests of making it work, shall have an egg for breakfast. Will be good to do, if it works. Also, to-morrow at work promises to be all right, really. I cannot wait to see Charlie, and I hope Enrique is still there, and--and! Ken said he'll be trying out his prosthesis! I'm so excited! ^________^ Perhaps I'll see him in Therapy. Ohhh, I cannot wait to see how it's going and how it'll work. <3 I love Ken so much, and I'm so happy for him. I hope he can walk again soon. It will be so wonderful.

They are playing Big River here in Hershey. I want desperately to go, but it's unlikely.
