Eeeee, Patrick Fiori is almost as wonderful as Bruno Pelletier and Garou. Eeeeee.
...Hi.
I handed out sixty-seven valentines to-day, and got to talk to almost every single one of my people. I missed Jim (I am disappointed about that, of course), but I got to see almost everybody else. And Jennie is going home! She's getting discharged and going home, after almost (or at least) five years...!! I can't believe it, it's so wonderful, and I'm going to miss her so much I don't know how I'll make it without crying like a silly girl. She has a new great-granddaughter, and she's going to help with her, and oh, it's so good.
(Daddy and I talked about Grandma, and Grandma dying, to-day. A lot of my people are dying or leaving, and it's made me think a lot about Grandma dying, and it feels better to talk about it with Daddy, although probably that's not fair of me, probably he doesn't want to talk about it, I do wish I were more thoughtful and didn't realise these things in retrospect--)
At any rate, at any rate.
Mum: Did you hear Dick Cheney shot a man?
Soujin: Yep, read it on Erin's journal yesterday.
Daddy: You'd really think he'd know enough to look first before shooting. You know, to know that he's shooting at the right thing before he fires.
Waen: Well, not doing that is kind of how the Bush administration does things in general.
Daddy: XD
~~~
Which incidentally I am this thing that I am not and furthermore I was to-day another this.
Also to-morrow I am going to spend being driven to various doctor's appointments, woe. Ah, well, I have valentines for all those doctors, which is cheering. And I'm going to make a chocolate cake! With the beautiful pink heart-sprinkles Zara gave me for Valentine's! ^___________^ Aaand we are having Mum's friend to dinner, the one who I telephoned the other (month) time, and Mum and I will stop by Curves so I can deliver those valentines, too, and I will be able to give everybody things, and I am stupid, and--
Cornflowers.
--And I thought I'd used all the stickers Miss Kylee sent me on valentines for my people, but it turns out I still have a whole sheet, and I'm sosososo happy--
Someday I really will read poetry. I said I would, and I will. Really. Someday.
