I Did Things to-day! ^_^ I went to Episcopal Commons to help with the flowers-in-pumpkins arranging class (all the ladies remembered me from my Confirmation); I got to the gym for the first time in goodness knows how long; I bought Waen marshmallow cats (shhh. I am slightly obsessed with buying Waen edibles. I don't want to talk about it. XD); I went to see Susan with Mum. Delivered unto her the muffins. She's down to one-hundred and thirteen pounds. akdflasdfjlas she's going to end up in the hospital again if she doesn't start eating. Sandy let me pet their cat and get the mats out of her fur. I drove both ways.

I think I've gotten hold of the indirect infinitive. I win. I really think I got all my exercises right, for the very first time. I also think I did well on my chem homework. I feel really guilty for abusing the teacher to everyone in my LJ. I really don't think it was her fault. I think I was being stupid again. So this week I've been practising hard and memorising my ions and this time I think I did a good job. She's giving me the better of two grades from this one and last week's, so I think I'll be able to make up what I lost in last week's disaster.

The hematoma on my toe is no less annoying. I will not forgive it. End of story. The other one is healing nicely; there's still a lot of drainage, but it's growing epithelial tissue all over it. Yay. ^____^

I want to braid my hair...! I am going to ask Mum if she wouldn't mind. I can't do it myself, unfortunately. Unfortunately also, my chain for my cross broke. I need to get it fixed; in the meantime I am unhappy because it is gone. I've gotten used to holding onto the chain while I sleep. All other jewellery is, thankfully, intact. You aren't wondering, I know, but the fact that I'm talking about jewellery in this post requires that I use the Opulent Shiny icon. :D

The leaves are changing incredibly. It looks beautiful here.

Maggie still barks and runs away from me, but she let me pick her up the other day. I have a photograph! Mostly it is of my head, my legs, and Maggie all the way in between. Cali has not come back yet. >_> Jiji is no longer yowling under my bed, though, so that is good. Maggie also knows how to climb both up and down stairs, so we have taken the barricade off the staircase. She used to go up and then howl until somebody carried her down. Considering that she is huge, this got very irritating very quickly. ^^;;;

I am still rereading The D Case. I had forgotten how much I want to hit Edwin. *facepalm* I'm not sure what even possessed me to take him on DF. He's annoying. I love Helena. And Crisparkle, but I always loved Crisparkle. Bwee. ^_^ There are a few things I missed the first time around, and most of them concern ages: Jasper is rilly young. O___O And Crisparkle is in his forties. I definitely missed that. I also don't remember Mr. Honeythunder being quite so awful, or Rosa liking Lumps, or the fact that there is a lot of UST between Rosa and Helena. WTF, Mr. Dickens. Neville is adorable in an unfortunate sort of way, but he is also a little pathetic. Durdles is eee. Mr. Sapsea makes me facepalm; I adore Grewgious. Deputy is so weird. Have I got everybody? That's as far as I am, at any rate.

But yes. It is not quite how I remember it. And Mr. Dickens, if he wants us to believe he was not fond of girlpr0n, needs to STOP WRITING CLOSET SCENES IN WHICH HE DESCRIBES THE TOUCHES BETWEEN ROSA AND HELENA IN SUCH LURID DETAIL. >_> What. What what what.

I FINISHED THE DON JOHN/HERO FIC FROM HELL. Now I just need to get it beta'd and edited quickly, and I can post it. Huzzahs all round.
