...I have a new stuffed animal. She is a horse. She is blue. ...Her name is Oprah Whinnyfrey.

This becomes amusing when you take into consideration the fact that I have never seen Oprah Winfrey in my life, and have only the vaguest idea of who she is and what she does.

I got to walk Maggie to-day! We went round by the creek, and everyone looked at her and went osopretty!. ^_^ And I--talked to her the entire time. I have this huge range of silly nicknames for her. Including Orsino, because she looks like a little bear. It's sad. XD I also call her Applesauce, for some reason. Waen is going to hate me for-ever, because the puppy is never going to learn her name at this rate.

In other news! Um. I managed to slice my thumb open with a tin. XD I win at stupid.

Also, we watched The Duel, and every time they said Horatio I died a little. Especially when Clayton STARTED QUOTING HAMLET. OMG. I also died when Captain Keene mentioned ablative absolutes, because HA HA I JUST DID THOSE IN LATIN. Poor Horatio. He is a Grecian. ...Also, sadly, Waen and I remember every single one of our dirty jokes, and can quote them exactly at every cute. XD Not that the film does not invite it.

In any case, I also worked on my Hallowe'en costume. And by 'worked on', I mean 'splattered red food colouring all over'. It looks just like blood, though! Is v. convincing! And Jeanie at the library gave me about a hundred glow-in-the-dark props. It is going to be wonderful. ^___^ Incredibly elaborate, just like always, and wonderful. I can't waiiiiit.

My kitty still has not turned up. >_>

Aaaaaand anything else? I don't think so. I am still working on the piece, Erin. I did a sonnet version of it to-day (following two free-verse and one short poem), but I haven't got what I want yet. *muddles with*

I am so silly sleepy it's not even funny, and I haven't even done much to-day besides eat. XD I have no idea. I do think, how-ever, that I will try to be in bed by eleven-thirty.

Oh oh oh! Natalie and Rebecca have a house in DC now, so they will be able to visit on odd weekends when they're not too busy. I hope they stay together. <3 They seem so good for each other, and it's just wonderful, and I think Rebecca loves her so much. I SHIP MY FAMILY. But really. I have so much hope for them.

And is there else? There is not. To-morrow I am promised to go to Fowler's Hollow and walk Maggie while everybody rides. Oh, and Linda called the house again. I've stopped answering the telephone at this point.

But that, truly is all.

Except that I love Zara. I love her so much.

...You know how it's a Gemini thing to be talkative, and how I have that so very down that it's not even funny? Is it also a Gemini thing to be jealous? Or have I got no astrological excuse whatsoever for the fact that I am more jealous than Othello mid-play?

It is getting v. frustrating.
