Waen and I just had the most amazing sledding imaginable. We went up to the hill behind our house, the lot that's being parcelled off. It's going to be built up, soon, but right now it's still just an endlessly white expanse. The snow's hardened on top, so it's basically white ice for-ever, except for a few bits where the snow is catching and building up like sand dunes. It looks like a sort of backwards desert.
We sledded down this with Maggie, twice--you couldn't do it more than that, I think, or it would have ruined it. It was probably about a third of a mile. Two perfect times. It was incredible.
Then we went back to our property and went down the hill from the barn to the driveway a few times. The last time we went with Maggie.
...
We went through the hedge. We hit a bump and tore right through the boxwoods (which are as tall as I am) and into the pine trees. There is a huge hole where we all went flying through. ^^ It was amazing, amazing.
