2. AMY E-MAILED ME. ^_________^ I haven't heard from her in months and I was getting really scared, but she e-mailed me and she's doing much better and she's out of Inpatient, and yayyyyyy. This is good news. Unfortunately, due to e-mail situation, I cannot e-mail her back. Must dig up her telephone number.

3. Finished Rusalka. Guh. I must get the next books immediately. (And must finish Queen of Camelot, so I have time to read them.)

I cleaned the refrigerator to-day...!

Which was... fairly disgusting. I took a hard stance on throwing things out, going by my policy: If it's older than I am, it goes. Also, there was some desperately horrible congealed mass of something on the bottom of the lower level, which could only be persuaded to dissolve by the steady application of quarter-cup measures of boiling water and a scouring pad. I have to say it was a little too like the alien goo from Spiderman 3 for comfort. I became increasingly sure that if I didn't deal with the problem quickly I'd end up with lots of teeth and crazy superpowers, which isn't necessarily bad--except that from my experience (and by 'experience' I mean 'watching the film once') one's increase in teeth and superpowers inversely affects one's chances of getting hugged.

And that would be terrible.

At any rate: I threw stuff out, it took three hours, the fridge is now shiny and clean. And there's room in it. To-morrow, I do the freezer (and possibly eat all the ice cream therein to create space. >_> whaaaat?).

EDIT: Okay, my e-mail is still being really weird, and I'm thinking, if this problem doesn't clear up by to-morrow, maybe someone could recommend another place I could get an e-mail account? I'm actually going to lose this one pretty soon in any case, since we're changing ISPs when we move, so maybe it would be better just to get one somewhere I don't have to worry about losing if we change in the future, and hi this gets more convoluted by the moment, but. Does anyone know a good place to get an e-mail account that isn't gmail?
