Work was actually quite nice to-day--this is why you shouldn't listen when I complain, because I whine about everything and then half the time I'm glad I did it--although the PCTA bus was late picking us up, and we theorised about what would happen if we got stuck in Wal*mart for the rest of our lives. I took Sheila shopping, and she bought a new radio, and that was all her money, so I bought her lunch; Karen took Katy, who got blouses and jewellery and shiny things, because Katy was smart and nicked her husband's credit card to shop with. :D And Michelle did Jean, who got shoes! Nice shoes, and kitkats; and John got peanut butter cups as part of his therapy.
Actually it was cool about John, because he's doing memory therapy, and before we left Pat, the therapist, gave him three dollars and asked him to buy her peanut butter cups, and then told everyone privately not to remind him--the goal was to see whether he could remember all by himself. And not only did he remember, he bought two different kinds because he wasn't sure which ones she'd like. So that was neat! He remembered!
We ate at McDonald's--here's the funny thing, that was my first ever time in a Wal*mart and my first time in ten years in a McDonald's--and fooled around with the french fries, because we are a mature bunch of people, oh, totally. And everybody made me get them free refills about six times each. XD I love my people. And John escaped once and turned up in the fingernail polish section. Oh, and Sheila and I went and tried on hats and sunglasses and made funny faces at each other, and then tries on the jewellery, and then went through the 'Intimates' section and laughed at the negligees. As I said: mature.
So! yes. Fun day. :D
Four days left, whee!
