"Page and Monarch Forth They Went..."
Dec. 18th, 2007 09:09 pmSo! This is for Erin, because she requested someone to recite it--and, Erin, I totally screwed up the last verse, it's pronounced 'cho-eh-loe-rum', and I think I said 'cho-loe-eh-rum' or something like that, but! anyway. There it is. And, dear lord, I giggled insanely the whole way through.
To-day was quiet and involved much reading and doing of maths. Also my cat is sulking, and Jiji gets more like Babi all the time--he has made himself a hollowed out place in the leaves by our door and lies in wait there.
"But I Swear By This Song..."
Oct. 10th, 2007 11:01 pmHappy belated birthday,
eegatland! ^_^ Firstly, because you like the song, here is a bad-quality recording of me trying to pretend I can sing Sweet Sir Galahad. :)
And secondly, Telemakos fic, from A Coalition of Lions (don't hate me!):
( In the Broad Ways I Will Seek Him Whom My Soul Loveth )

"Get Myself to Bed by Eight..."
Oct. 4th, 2007 09:32 pmManon? I'm posting my fail at life for your sake. I hope you appreciate it.
(recommendation: do not play this loud. I think I'm deaf in one ear from the combination of my inability to sing plus the volume of my inability to sing.)

I have surgery to-morrow morning; I only mention this incidentally. It's nothing serious. They're taking the cancer out of my shoulder, the one that's been lying in there asleep (I think I was supposed to medicate in preparation for this to-day, but I--didn't), and that's all.
I pulled an all-nighter for my exam, and I think I failed anyway. In any case--to-day at work, a gentleman came in and bought seventeen bags of dill pickle flavoured sunflower seeds and a bottle of gatorade from me. I mention this for Luisa--I mention this because Luisa will laugh, and I much intend for that. Actually, Luisa, some time you should make me telephone you and tell you all the work stories I have in me, because it's worse than my grandfather, I swear it is. You should hear--I think you'd laugh a lot.
Heaven knows I'm tired. I finished four of the six essays I have due this week; at least that's good.
