Well, in an effort to say something that is not quiz! Quiz! Bwaha!, I'm fighting with my characters again. Mum says that I have been using the same characters for over a year and my head is getting bored with them and running out of creative ways to write them. Waen says that she does this with her pictures plenty of the time, and just scrawls chibi comics until her inspiration comes back.

But blah! I have commissions to write, demmit, for lots of people including Waen, and my head is not allowed to give out right in the middle of them! I must write! They're important!

*sits in a corner and fumes*

I need something to fix my head so I can get back to writing properly. Perhaps I shall wander around outside in the rain until inspiration comes to me.

Or perhaps I shall just procrastinate.

Inspiration often comes when you least expect it. I'm sure something will come to you sometime in the near future. Take a walk, sing, watch television, do something, and you will get inspiration.

But, whatever you do, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE.XD

Best of luck. ::snuggles::

All right, so I sort of have inspiration. *g* I went and played tennis in the rain, and now the Jehan in my head is hyper and alive and seeing dead people.

Thanks. *hugses*

The absolute best thing to do when looking for inspiration is not to look for inspiration. Don't try to write if it feels like you're forcing it. Do something else. Come back later and read over other stuff you've written with those characters and see if it inspires you to anything new.

That said, it came to me recently that my little!Remus must be in That Great Big Fanfic In The Sky (or wherever characters go when they die) with your Nikki. This makes me happy. Which is kind of sad, but, you know. They were friends!

I'm still attempting to work on the Cosette slash I started well over a year ago. Because my inspiration, such as it was, faded before I had a chance to get everything down, and now I'm having to go back and read Tipping the Velvet in the hope of finding it again.

So you're hardly alone with the commission problem, and if I believe I can get mine back for something that squicks me, you can get yours back.
