I probably love this picture too much, but the fact remains that I love it.

Simeon Solomon's "Autumn Love".

It doesn't... *sigh* Internet can be a horrible nuisance, sometimes.

It is quite lovely, but angels and fairies attract my adoration because they remind me of Art Nouveau.

I think it was Burne-Jones, did some lovely angels. And Dante Gabriel Rosetti, too, but Waen hates it when I say that.

Botticelli, of course, reigns supreme with regard to angels, but he is not a Pre-Raphaeliteist.

Definitely Burne Jones. I both hate and adore the PRB - hate the sentimentality that is now attached to their work, but adore the best of the work itself.

Okay, just making sure. I love the PRB, and am blissfully ignorant of all sentimentality other than that which I exhibit. ^__^ The work itself is wonderful. I am in love with Millais.
