Ahh my diet is trying to kill me!
No, I'll be serious. It is.
I'm on the WW Core plan this week, as opposed to the Flex plan, which is what I'm usually on (and what I'm going right back to at the end of this week, thanks very much). There are certain benefits about the Core plan, I will confess, like being able to drink milk again, among other things. But it makes me nervous because I don't technically have to track things down. I will anyway, though. And I'm not supposed to measure, which freaks me out a tad.
But the point is, on the Flex plan I can eat anything, so long as its within my points, and on the Core plan, I have no points restrictions, but I can't eat just anything.
I looked through the booklets and sort of planned my breakfast, thinking that there was some lovely brown rice in the fridge, and also some canned chicken.
Actually, the rice was spoiled, and there was half an ounce of the chicken left, which Soujin happily put in the microwave uncovered. It seemed to 'ave escaped her attention that chicken blows up. So a good five minutes were spent this morning cleaning out the microwave and wondering what in hell she could eat, at which point she was demanding to know why the heavens were trying to thwart her, demmit!
Had some leftover salmon instead. Nice salmon. And also a half-cup of milk.
Sort of makes me rethink that idea that I was ready for college, though. I really can't take care of myself at all. :)
I got up this morning at eight-thirty. So early. My eyes hurt.
...well, for me it's early, okay?

Date: 2004-09-02 06:51 pm (UTC)Er--because we're supposed to try them both and see which one works best for us. Some of us have a lot of trouble tracking stuff down, and some don't like being able to eat just anything, so the Core plan works better. Me, I'm exactly the opposite way.
