Whyyyy is it that I get a shiny new fandom, and it is shiny, and shiny it is, and it is anti-slash?

Well, it is not really anti-slash, but of the five people who have so far signed up for the ficathon, two of them don't mind slash. And one of them is me. What are the odds I am going end up writing slashfic?

Dammit, it's shiny! Why can't it be sparkly, too?!

Fffff. On the plus side, began GSA to-day, and two of the girls write fanfic. One is a Star Wars fan who reads HP, and one is an LotR girl who hangs out on FictionAlley. Neither has posted her fanfic. Neither knows of Cassandra Claire or beta-readers or comms or concrit or ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING.

I am going to drive them completely mad. I know I am. They are going to hate me.

No More is just about the saddest, most loveliest song ever, and it always makes me cry. I want to make the Baker happy! *_*

Also, I like my shirt. Life is very good presently, all things considered.

I love your turn of phrase. *g* Good luck making your new fandom sparkly!

And, there are people who don't know of Cassandra Claire? People who read Harry Potter and LOTR fanfic? Wow, I would have thought that would be impossible!

*beams* Thank you! I shall endeavour to do my best!

O_O I know! I was deeply disturbed. I think I'm going to corrupt them, probably, and then their mothers will come after me.

Er. Um, what/who is Cassandra Claire?

She wrote the Very Secret Diaries and the Draco Trilogy, and mostly I am under the impression that if you are to join the HP fandom, they tie you up and force you to read her as a part of the initiation process.

I actually have read nothing of hers but the VSD.

Ahh, I see. Is the VSD for LotR or HP? I read them for LotR, but have come across so many adaptions that, you know, I am unsure whether they are the originals or not...

It's LotR. >_> Yes, the adaptions run rampant. On the plus side, most of the ones I've seen have been decent.

I love No More. I also love the Baker's Wife's song, Moments in the Woods, or whatever. Bwaaah, I love that play. It makes me cry every time. *huggles the Baker* Poor guy.

I like my shirt, too! What's your shirt look like? =3

Yes! And I love 'Stay With Me', too. It is a very cry-inducing play, and so good. *joins in Baker-huggle*

It's blue-jean, the first one I've ever had, and it had weird sleeves. What's yours like?

He's just so... cuddly. And, like... yes. In need of a hug.

'tis a shirt my mum brought back from New York. =3 Jean shirts are fun.

It really makes no sense, as Dorian will shag anything, we have no clue about Nemo, Hyde surely must include buggery among the vast sins he revels in (though that might be difficult in a hulking body like that, but still), and I strongly suspect Skinner of having paederistic tendencies. After all, does any straight man go around refering to other people as "freaky darlings"?

Exactly! And besides that, if you read King Solomon's Mines, you will see that Allan Quartermain is easily the most fluffy slashbunny in the world. ^__^ And you have forgotten Jekyll! He is almost more slashable in the movie than he is in his book!

In short, it is a slasher's paradise. I cannot believe all these people in denial. :p
