Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] cimmerianwillow. The sad part is, this is only about one-third of my fic altogether, and I cut out all the Les Mis fic and multiple chapters ones. It means, however, that mixed in there is Hornblower, LXG, Westmark, Jules Verne, Jekyll and Hyde, Harry Potter, and a variety of Other Random Things.

"It was unfair, he whispers to himself."

"'Your capitaine, he does not like me.'"

"Lord, he's warm."

"'Captain Sawyer?'"

"Horatio kisses Archie shortly when he returns from his shore leave, smiling, laughing, head held high."

"It was hot."

"'God, but he's such a bastard.'"

"She had always been fond of Boy."

"When their first son was born, Leaori and her husband Silvanus decided to name him Justitia."

"'Love is patient, love is kind,' Archie mumbled pleasedly, swinging his hammock back and forth."

"Hamlet is mad, yes, and he's not ashamed of it, only frustrated by it."

"He knows how to speak silkily, and convince Jekyll of almost anything."

"He's dark, and small, and Jekyll's clothes don't fit him. "

"'But, Archie--' Horatio blinked."

"Justin grinned often - a funny, boyish grin that looked half-strange on him, at the same time that it fit his face perfectly - he even laughed, but he never seemed like he meant it."

"Archie Kennedy woke in the middle of the night and sat up in his hammock, shuddering, for the third time in a week."

"Florian awoke in the morning with the idea that it wouldn't be a good day."

"It was a dark and a stormy night."

"Horatio lies on the floor, on a horse-skin rug, looking up at the ceiling."

"'My good mate Jack, you're an idiot.'"

"It was nearly sundown, and the sky was all colours and shades of purple, red, blue, pink, and a funny golden-orange."

"When Rina first met Florian, she hardly believed in him. "

"Remus Lupin was sitting in his dormitory after lunch during a free period, reading avidly."

"Remus was shy before he knew Sirius, James, and Peter."

"I lay in bed that evening, studying charts."

"In the last few days, Pencroff had gone from ecstasy to despair to hope to misery over and over again, so that he woke in the night sometimes weeping as though his heart would break and sometimes with his eyes lit, and ran to Cyrus' bed to shake him awake so he could say in a loud whisper, 'Mr. Cyrus! Suppose to-morrow he knows me! What do you think of that? Might he be able to sit up by to-morrow?'"

"He used to call me The Old Man."

"I was in my room at the time, washing my face in the basin by my bed and trimming my beard slightly--you know, I'm pleased with my beard."

"Oh, Andrew! she cries as the cart stops before her small house at the end of town."

"His hand turned the knob silently, his fingers curling and his wrist turning down, while his other hand went to the worn edge of the door."

"Another adventure."

"Ned Land was no common, stupid sailor pressed into service and nearly nameless."

"The man walking down the dirt road towards the only inn in Port Burdock was about thirty years of age."

"She was a good girl, everyone knew."

"Fix skulked silently along the walk in front of the houses of Saville Row."

"We hurt, Edward and I."

"In the middle of a large, rolling space of land, covered with small, gentle hills and wide fields, surrounded on one side by a vast forest and on another by a deep lake, and built partly in the shadow of a high purple mountain, there was a tall house made of stone."

"She stood up abruptly and walked to the window, leaving the tall chair, the short table, and the books behind her."

"The three-quarter moon had risen above the sea like a lopsided silver marble, and its reflection rippled and squirmed in the distance as dawn began to approach."

"He felt that the storm had ended."

"A witch's house, with stained-glass children."

"He could walk in the dark."

"Ben Joyce."

"He planned it out so well."

"Outside it seemed to be autumn."

"Sir Edward Pellew had long been of the private opinion that his ship was one of the greatest in the world."

"'Let me tell you a story, Henry.'"

Bed now, for sure.
