Oh, right, you believe that last post?

I love La Boheme. I've managed to find the CDs that Mum had, and have been playing it for the last three or six hours. It's so beautiful, and it makes me cry all over the place. Woe is me, and how beautiful it is.

Puccini is my new idol.

You know, I think Victor Hugo lends himself much better to magic than Jules Verne does. I shall never be able to make a fantasy of a Jules Verne unless I speak in the looser meaning of the word.

Waen has been making lovely shiny origami dragons in emerald green and gold and deep purple and full blue and crimson. I love them.

The world is full of funny things that are beautiful, incongruously almost. Like origami dragons in many colours, and watercolour pencils, and books that one knows one loves, and Puccini, though he is not incongruously beautiful. He is undeniably beautiful.

I love La Boheme.

I sobbed hysterically (well, hysterically but quietly) each time I saw LB, and I usually get teary-eyed when I listen to it.

And Alfred, his voice breaking.

I even cried a tiny bit for Vic and his big fake sobs. I am a sap.

I anticipate having the same reaction, since listening to the CDs brings me to tears.

Y'know Puccini did, at some point, have a vague idea about making an opera out of Les Miserables.
