But it is! It's exceedingly dark saving for the highlights, which came out rather chestnuttish. I am awfully excited. Nemo shall be splendid, with his boots and his coat and his hair and his turban. ^______^
Next year? I am so Dorian Gray. I'll blonde my hair and cut it short, and buy a sandy eyeliner pencil for a beard. Mum says this is a terrible idea.
At any rate, lost .8 pounds; got to have a couple of sour gummi worms (<3); walked in the Newport Hallowe'en parade. We won first place! Denise says it's our second year running we've won, but I wasn't here last year, so I did not know of this.
The girls crowded me. Why do they all pretend I'm some sort of genius and attack me and ask me to tell them big words? Demmit, I read Hugo and Verne and bloody like it because I'm a geek. I'm not smart; I'm not brilliant. I'm simply a mad little girl who thinks that digression is fun and who collects big words as a hobby; but half the idiots on the Pit of Voles have read the Tome. I don't have to be clever to do that. I just have to have the spare time.
I do hate it when People My Age act that way. I shall never be able to fit in anywhere but with the misfits, which I do not mind in the least, unless I must be around the ones who are not. Feh.
But I escaped from them and walked on my own and someone said the girl in the Thin Mints box was cute. ^____^
And I waved at all the old folks. I love old people so much. They're so wonderful.
And OMG my hair is BLACK now!!
