Why I love
erinpuff (as if it needed listing. ^_^).
Okay, you know what, one of the main things is the spam. I don't know where I'd be without the spam. I value Erin's spam more than I would ever value anyone else's spam, EVER. PERIOD. I rely on that wonderful spam to tell me how she is, what's going on in the world, what loony things people are doing to-day, whether or not the shuttle got missed by .00024601 or .0009340 of a second.
No, seriously. I like how she posts human interest along with current events. :) I find out a lot of what is going on about two days before I read it in the paper or in Newsweek, and I love how many little posts there are, all interspersed with everyone's loooong once-a-day ones (which is not to say I'm dissing once-a-day ones. I'm simply pointing out that Erin's are very nifty, and very much a novelty).
Also, she is just so omggah awesome, really. I mean, for one thing, she's funny, and that rocks. I can't even begin to describe how many times I have sporfled madly and with an acute lack of dignity over something she's posted (the HH 1 2 & 3 notes stand out particularly in my mind ^_^). She's also a liberal Christian, being as it is that such things *do exist*, and I think that's wonderful. Too many people brush Christians off as being complete nutters, and she's more than enough to smush this idea. Because, you know, she's Christian. But she isn't close-minded or creepy or Bible-thumping or homophobic or any of the things that people tend to label Christians as. She's just a really smart, really open, really accepting person.
She's very friendly (she was one of the first people who friended me when I came to LJ) and very, very nice, and I loved talking to her on the phone so much, which was great, because I was mad panicking due to being quite phone-shy, and then it became apparent that I didn't need to be at all. God, I had a (comparatively) normal phone conversation. ^_^ Also, she reads things when I tell her to. I love this in
snowyofthenight, and I love it in Erin. Because not enough people, including me, read good books on recommendation.
Another thing that stands out quite clearly when I think of Erin is how totally quotable she is. Thanks to her, I have amassed many new phrases into my personal dictionary, including like whoa and crazy mad. Which is why I love her crazy mad like whoa.
But you know. She is a very awesome person who I feel very comfortable around and who I adore very much and upon whom I have come to depend for my weekly updates on the world's news. :) And she is Erin. And she rocks.
AND ONLY TEN DAYS TILL I SEE HER HAHAHA OMGOMG. I think. ^_____________^
