On the plus side, I may be able to overcome it. I am going to work as hard as I can, but some Christmas presents might end up being Twelfth Night presents, and I hope everyone will forgive muchly. I am going to do my absolute level best to see that they get finished in time, though. I shall not fail ye! At least verily do I hope not!
Note also that I have got my Mizzie Christmas music out.
And Waen is finished will all her Christmas shopping already, and just wrapping the last things right now. I'm not speaking to her. It is not at all fair, no... At least I have a decent excuse in that a lot of the material things I need to get for people I have to bake, and I can't do them until much closer to time. Also, I have been so busy with work and &c that I haven't had time to shop.
My essay on Chaucer is not yet finished. No, actually, I mean to say that it is not yet begun. It's due on Monday. I have writer's block. Gaaah, I cannot have writer's block!
To-morrow, rather than going to see the prospective new horse and then go bake cookies at church, I am going to sleep till nine, treadmill, write, and go put wreaths on Grandma and Grandpa's graves. Fun. :) Actually, I want to do this; I asked Da' if it was all right my going with him when he did it. The only thing I'm dreading is my aunts, who terrify me rather. All my relatives terrify, I begin to believe, from The Aunt Who Hates Me to Crazy Uncle John. Alas, I am so frightened!
At any rate, I have a cookbook of "Diabetic dream desserts", which have the advantage of being extremely low-point on my diet, so I shall try making some if desserts are demanded. The library had a big plate of cookies out for the volunteers. I didn't eat any. I just had one M&M. I'm so proud of me. Maybe I'll be the right weight by my birthday. That would be really, really neat.
And now, I think, I had best try writing again.
