Okay.

Am much calmer than previously. Things have sorted themselves out slightly, but only slightly, which is the reason for the following post.

You probably won't be seeing much of me for the next month. I have a lot of gifts to write, and only one is finished at the moment, and the only reason it's finished is because I said screw everything last night and sat down and wrote. So. I'm probably going to be doing that every single night for quite a while.

I won't be on AIM. I'll try to keep up with LJ, and I'll probably post daily just because I'm anal and pretend-OCD and I have to post every single day omg. I'll try to stay current with my comms and read everybody's LJs and comment as much as I can. But mainly I'm not going to be here.

I'm just... really busy. And really stressed. And really behind is everything. So I can't afford to have free time, if you know what I mean. ^_^

I'm still going to get the cards out! I'm just working on those currently! Also--majorly ack!--[livejournal.com profile] sorcha_feanor, I don't have your name! Could you please e-mail or comment or something, so that I don't have to address the card to Sorcha Feanor (which I would, because I'm pathetic like that)?

My crazy mad Soujinness will still be felt. Just not so presently as before.

Thank you to everyone for understanding this madness! I shall be back among the living, I think, by January. Much love! <3

... the ivy's the most beautiful of the flowers in the wood. Or something like that.

Your situation is a very familiar one! I've just got a difficult essay finished and feel immense relief. So too will you. :-)

Nevertheless, reply inevitable.

Actually, "and Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ to do poor sinners good", but there is another line which goes, "Of all the trees that are in the wood, the holly bears the crown", which is what you're thinking of, I think.

Yay! Okay. All this hard work will pay of, eh? Glad to hear it. *does best Pellew impression*

My favourite Robert Lindsay moment is in the BBC Taming of the Shrew where he says, "I am tired an' dog weary, in'I?" My family's been quoting that for years. He also gets to deliver the famously incomprehensible joke "Sowter will cry out on it, though it be rank as a fox" in the Beeb's Twelfth Night.

I envy you exceedingly for your obviously quite wide exposure to Robert Lindsay, when I've only seen him in HH.

He was in a TV series with Paul McGann in the eighties - Give Us A Break - of which I've seen a few episodes. Lindsday is scarily young and a con man. McGann is scarily young and wears a beanie.

But you can make free time to come visit me!

We need to work out when/where to meet up and such. (I don't mean to stress you further, it's just that I'm thinking about it at the moment, so before I forget...) Like I said, I'm free from 2:00 to 7:00. I think a good meeting place would be outside Central Moravian Church, which is at the south end of Main Street. That's right across the street from my music campus, which is where I'll be until 2.

(also hee, you said "crazy mad." ^_^)

Yesyesyes! I can!

Okay. I'll write that down and make it a conversation topic at dinner and hound until something is decided for sure.
