metaquotes rocks like a rocking thing. ^_^ The only thing about it that does not rock is that every time I post something to it, there are inevitable side-conversations (like "ICON!!" "ICON!!" "ICON!!") that end up in my e-mail box. :p

Agreed, on both points, because of course those discussions have to be looked at, so one can find out why exactly the icon was so great, and it's always a fandom in-joke, and one's wasted a lot of time and inbox space and doesn't even get to laugh. No fair.
