Saw three and eleven/twelfths and one/fifth of my nine black and whites.
Mr. Moto's Last Warning: Squeee I love his glasses! He was absolutely amazing, and rather dear. And the kitty! And the dork Englishman! *g* They just have to have these stereotypical comic relief types, don't they? Also I loved his daring underwater rescue. They killed everyone off rather cheerfully in this picture. Felt awfully sorry for Burke.
Shriek in the Night: Excellent. Ginger Rogers is gorgeous, and this was so much fun to watch. It was also highly creepy. Urgh. The maid was just unbelievable. I love random old film stereotyping, I really do. It's so... random. Heh. Also deeply creeped out by the furnace bit.
Sherlock Holmes: Quite dreadful. We shut it off one/fifth of the way through. Bad sound, bad picture quality, and rather dreadful picture altogether. Also they cut my favourite bit, so I was unforgiving. However, Moriarty and his EYEBROW OF DOOM win.
A Scream in the Night: Hee. Silly. So, so silly. Between the dart-and-parrot game, and the moustache, and the random bad henchdude with the missing eye--oh, dear. We shut it off for supper and didn't have the heart to resume.
Saboteur: Eeeeeek. I love Alfred Hitchcock when he's not gory. ^^; And this was very good. Especially liked the truck driver, which was silly of me. And the blind man. Also, OMG Priscilla Lane! *flutters eyelashes* "Oh, Mortimer!" I love her. So, yes, meliked.
The rest are for Tuesday, or best convenience. Yay. ^______________^
