Ten things I've done that you lot probably haven't...
1. Galloped on an Icelandic horse through a black sand desert (in Iceland). (Confessedly, my eyes were closed very very tightly.)
2. Sat naked in the snow.
3. Skipped a period for nearly four weeks because of exercising.
4. Gotten eight ear infections in kindergarten.
5. Made playing 'Apples to Apples' with the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack blasting in the background a family tradition. >_>
6. Tried to run away from home only to return very cold two hours later and found that no one noticed I'd left, even with my good-bye note propped on the kitchen table.
7. Fallen into a fishpond on the first day of school.
8. Cut my head open with a cactus. (*g* I love that one. It's so me.)
9. Made a hobby of finding, ridiculing, evaluating, and slashing bad Jekyll&Hyde movie adaption.
10. Passionately hated the Harry Potter books and tried to launch a pro-Diana Wynne Jones campaign.
In other news, Samuel Pepys still insane.
It's snowing outside beautifully, and I may end up having my acting class cancelled, in which case, well, Da' shall make a fire and I shall write and watch the snow out my window. Not a bad prospect, really.
Also, I am allergic to sorbitol, which means that I can't have chewing gum any longer. Not fair. On the plus side,
erinpuff will never need to hate me.
I think my life needs more Edward Gorey in it...

Date: 2005-02-25 01:42 am (UTC)Wh...WHAAAT?!
I'm allergic to sorbitol too, and aspartame. Which makes most diet sodas out. But that's not too heartbreaking to me, because they taste rather nasty anyway. And did you know that those artificial sweeteners actually do more damage to your teeth than real sugar?

Date: 2005-02-25 02:45 am (UTC)Well, I've never drunk soda anyway. It just annoys me because I like chewing gum and onna my diet as well as Lent, I'm not allowed chewing gum with sugar. Otherwise I'd hardly notice, I'm afraid. ^^;;

Date: 2005-02-25 06:09 pm (UTC)I have Galloped on an Icelandic horse, but not just in a field and the field was too small... but the black sand deserts here are quit big.
So I'll definitely try that, when I have time.

Date: 2005-02-26 02:36 pm (UTC)It was quite amazing, truly, what with the sand flying up everywhere and the horse moving beneath one and the fly net pressing on my face and going so fast. When you do it, you'll have to tell me how it feels to you.
