Am I the only person who is obsessive about LJ comments? They have to be even numbers, or they drive me mad. I hate uneven numbers comments. In almost anything else, I can compromise with fives and tens, or threes, or something like that, but the comments are supposed to be numbered evenly, demmit. Even even even! *wibbles*

[livejournal.com profile] sparklychibi, could you call one more time, please? The first time I didn't hear until it was too late, and the second time my foot was asleep and I fell over on the way to the phone. *makes faces* Sorry.

Heee, I actually dislike the even numbers. Odd numbers look more rounded and textured to me, so I like them better; even numbers make me think of holes or barren plateaus, so when there's an even number of comments I wish someone would go and make it odd to set me at peace, because it's bad to comment on my own posts.

Really? Then I don't feel so bad about commenting on your entries. I used to feel quite guilty because I was afraid you'd want them even and I was spoiling them by replying to your comments without even thinking what it might be doing to your LJ. Oh, good. ^_^

That's why you don't always reply to comments, isn't it? I do the same thing, but only to make evens.

You needn't have worried, but thanks so much for the consideration. ^___^

A mixture between that and my silly antisocial-ness. :X

This comment makes it uneven; am very sorry. *hides*

Welcome. ^_^ And now I know better.

*fluffs and hugs*

Not at all. As you can see, I am answering it. :o

I'm terribly sorry if I ever ruined a post by commenting on it so as to make the number of comments uneven. :o Though I guess you can always fix it by replying to comments.

Actually, I don't think you have. Certainly never more than once. :p Usually, if I'm having too much trouble, I make an intentional typo and then correct it in a new comment, so that when the other person replies again, it evens everything.

/is crazy mad... well... crazy, really.

I can usually tell if I've remembered to reply to someone by if there is an even number of comments. An odd number indicates a new comment (because I don't bother to have comment notifications emailed to me except with journals I don't use much. When people start having conversations in my journal, it throws me off.

I use that, too, occasionally; although more than one comment would throw me off, I suppose. It's easier to receive notifications. Conversations make me go buhhh because I have no control over them and they often make uneven comments in the end, but I have never actually annoyed someone over them.

Popping in to make this even. :) I'm not obsessive about comments, but I know the feeling.

Ahh, thank you. ^__^ It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
