On a different note, had a really lovely day. The mad uncle was not nearly so antagonistic as he usually is, and all the horses were surprisingly in love with him. O_o Mystified as to why, really, but they loved on him excessively and let him stroke their noses and scratch their ears and the whole bit.
I wore a hat to church to-day, and everybody loved it. ^_^ Alice did too, and she's the hat lady. She always wears the most wonderful hats, so I was so flattered and pleased that she liked mine; and I promised next week to wear a different one, the one I bought in Colonial Williamsburg, with green and pink ribbons.
Several of the gentlemen sought me out to praise my acolyting skills, which was amusing, because I'm afraid I did quite badly to-day. I gave all the wrong things, and I nearly dropped the crucifix. A fellow from New York and I had a most peculiar animated conversation about something very bizarre and unrelated to anything until his mother came and pulled him away; and he said he couldn't be here next week because he meant to go home, and I said it was a pity, because I was baking for coffee hour, and he said he'd think of me, then.
I'm not sure what I shall make. Must get out cookbooks. I love to bake, but of course since I can't eat what I make I don't often get to now. It's nice to have an excuse. I think I'll do a nice coffee cake or a cheesecake or something. ^_^ Might even try out some of the neat chocolate cake recipes I got from the library this week (to look at the pictures, you understand. Cooking magazines are full of food porn, and I smuggle them out of the library to read on the sly).
Also, since I made allowances not to exercise, the whole entire evening is all mine. I shall relax in front of the fire with my family and then get online and bounce around with my compatriots. Perhaps I shall neopet about with Waen. Perhaps I shall do some writing (note that as soon as I said I was going to work on a novel, I've been able to write all the things I ought to have written long, long ago, but was always stuck on)--after all, I still owe

Oh! It is a happy Soujin, a very, awfully happy Soujin!
