...I can't believe it's Monday already. My week ran away with me. Almost Wednesday! O_O I shall die.

Still, to-morrow is Soup Day, to-morrow is Friendly Hostility Day, to-morrow is work and my beautiful, beautiful old people! I hope that Anna is well. ^__^

Bob and John both died! I didn't mention it at the time, because I've been so awfully busy and everything's been so bizarre, but--my darling John, the fellow I rescued! *weeps* He's the gentleman I saved, remember? He was so sweet and muddled and wonderful, and I really can't believe he's died. Bob, on the other hand, was just the fellow who was always in the halls. He'd been there since for-ever, and he loved to play ball, and you could sometimes get him to smile and often not, and his wheelchair was all stiff and horrid to push, and he was--well, I suppose it was his face, but he looked as though he would have been such a lovely fellow before he got dementia. I'm going to miss him just because he was always there.

I think on April eighth--the day Grandma died--I am going to light a candle for all my beautiful people who have died as well as for her. It will make me feel better.

*hugsback* It is, but you get a little used to it after a while. I only feel sad now, but it doesn't shatter my life. The nice thing, too, is that a lot of my people are very old and some of them are in pain, so it's probably not a terrible thing to them to die. They've been able to live long, full lives, and it will mean they needn't hurt any longer. That does help, to think that.

Of course, yes, I understand what you mean. I suppose that does make it better, but it's still difficult, I guess. But it's good that it doesn't shatter your life.
