PICSPAM LIEK WHOA.
No, there is no justification for this post. *shrugs* Except that being computerless for the last week left me with a lot of spare time. Actually, some of these photographs are vaguely interesting. And there is me in teh Eton girl outfit!
Trip photographs, all out of order. Here's Babe the Blue Ox, and Paul Bunyan, and Soujin! ^__^ Bimidji, Minnesota, I believe.

Waen and her horse head in New Mexico. Is not my Waen the prettiest in the world? *sighs and adores*

Waen and I at Wall Drug's largest tourist trap, the drugstore. You can tell who wanted to be there and who didn't, ne? *far too amused* That was fun, though.

Waen randomly looking adorable with a horse in Custer, South Dakota.

ELVIS!! Memphis, Tennessee.

And then there're photographs of Sewanee. Because I rock just that much (I so don't), and Manon wanted to see. Martin took them and mailed them to me, because he is Sweet Like That.
So we have:
There's a mad gorgeous graveyard at Sewanee.

Here's our dorm:

Villie and Johanna and Waen came to visit me, and we went to Abbo's Alley to see the bronze statue The Aunt Who Hates Me made.

The girl on the right is, of course, the girl I am madly in love with. Isn't she so beautiful, though?

Me right after the caving trip! *DIES*

And on Casino Night, with drink &c.:

After all those lovely little photographs, we have the really gratuitous ones. The ones of me. Oh, dear, yes.
The Eton outfit with the suit jacket and tie: In the first photograph, yes, I cut off my head. It was not very attractive, and anyway I took the photographs for the clothes. I should have cut it off both times, but you needed to see the cap.

Now I'm just being silly and playing with the camera. Do you know how hard it is to photograph oneself?

Look, no spectacles!

Tie! Also, funny, because I had to jump back in order to be in the photograph before the flash went off.

This is a mask I made a few years ago in art class. I told you 'tis a ridiculous gratuitous post.

And now, have spammed disgustingly with myself, here are some things of Waen's, and elsewise, too.
She is presently painting a mural on the wall of our staircase, having finished all the doors upstairs:

The Hamlet poster she made last year in art class.

Her beloved piano:

And now, two final random things. For
tiamatschild, a lily I give--

And this is my grandmama when she was a girl. Father Julian says I look like her. Amusingly, she looks like herself. Her eyebrows were always that sharp, up until she died. I think she's so pretty.

And there you have it. Spam, spam, spam.
...And now, having indulged myself to a disgusting degree, I shall go off and try to do something worthwhile, like catching up on four days of flist. Oh, my, yes.

Date: 2005-07-23 03:38 pm (UTC)Did you ever notice how pretty graveyards are?
(no subject)
Date: 2005-07-23 03:45 pm (UTC)They're beautiful! There's a special one very close to my house that I love to walk to. The only trouble, of course, is that one must hold one's breath while walking by a graveyard, and I always find that so difficult to do.

Date: 2005-07-24 04:10 pm (UTC)Bwee, thank you. That's very flattering, because I've always admired her a lot.
*giggles* The librarian said, 'ooh! That should be a prize for next year's library auction! Have your wall painted by a local artist!' And I sort of giggled nervously, because Waen hates things like that.

Date: 2005-07-24 04:14 pm (UTC)Oh, she'll be terribly pleased to hear that. Except she won't hear it, because I wasn't supposed to photograph it, and I did after she was asleep. :P

Date: 2005-07-24 10:01 pm (UTC)Well, if I shall it when I visit, or see a photo of it when you are allowed to photograph it, then you may tell her. *g*

Date: 2005-07-24 03:27 am (UTC)And look what I found! Both Manon and I think she looks like you. I found it in a thrift store on my day off, Thursday. It's from a Chicago studio, and was taken in 1894.

(no subject)
Date: 2005-07-25 03:41 am (UTC)*squibbles* Eep, oh dear. Thank you. Er, Waen's thirteen. Mostly people suppose she's older than I am, but--she doesn't look older to me. She's taller, though.
