Had a perfect day.

Oh.

The wedding was beautiful. There were five priests, and Father Julian and his fiancee--his wife--gave the communion. And it was an Episcopalian service, which meant it was mad long--six or eight pages in the thingy. The, um, the thingy. Programme. Yes. ^_^ And they sang all the best hymns, ones I've not heard before, but Mum loves, and I can certainly see why, because they were beautiful. And eee. Then the reception, and Father Julian's wife had speeches and so did her children and brothers and they brought ice cream especially for her and it was joy.

The wedding cake was wonderful. It was sparkly. And Mum arranged pink roses for the top, and baby's breath, and lots of our flowers from home, and it looked beautiful. And I've got a bit, just as I'd planned at the other wedding, the one that didn't go right. This time I got a bit of cake, and it's all wrapt up, and to-night I shall sleep with it under my pillow. I'm so glad.

And then after that we had to rush off to Marilyn's for the food club pool party thing. ^_^ And I swam with my clothes on, because I'm silly, but then I was shivery all the time after that. But now I've got on a nice warm nightdress, and I'm happy, and I feel so happy, and I know this is a tiny little post, but there really aren't words for all my happy. It's so warm and good and whole and--

I'm happy.

*giggles!* That's what everybody said! Four of them were Episcopalian priests, and the fifth one was Baptist who was a friend of the family. And then Father Julian is a priest, too, of course...! 'Twas a lot.
