Waen's wall-horse is coming along beautifully. He's huge and blue and black and looks so strong and big and good. I shall have to take more secret photographs to-night at night, or something like, because he's wonderful.
Daniel's girlfriend, Valerie, is taking us to the Amish Market (we're the only ones home just now) and it's the loveliest place. I shall write all about it when we get back, and say what we've gotten. There are so many wonderful things there, and all the nicest kinds of fruits and vegetables. We're going to get bread and things to make sandwiches. ^_^ I'm excited.
*twirls again, and does not quite fall over, but overbalances at little*
I am happy but I'm also feeling oddly apprehensive, and I'm not sure why. I've been choosing birthday presents for people to-day. The trouble is I never know when someone will actually like something without asking outright, so all surprise gifts are terribly difficult for me to choose. Only I think Nanni will like what I picked for her. ^_^ But the other people, I'm not absolutely certain about, and it makes me anxious. Besides, I never feel as though one gift is enough. Alas.
I did not sleep well last night, but that's not bothering me.
Also, I've got to make Waen's birthday cake to-day! Oh, dear, I'd entirely forgotten but not really. It's not as hot to-day as it was when I last baked, so with any luck I shall not end up quite coated in iiiiiicky runny chocolate. But who knows? ^_^
I wish it would rain.
