Oo. It's all pretty and sketchy and textured and such. Is it entirely finished? And does the horse have wings, or is that just background mist/whatever?

(So, what do you think of Jane Eyre? *bounces*)

It has stars all over it, but they didn't come through. That's what all the tiny white points are. No, it's not finished at all yet, Waen says. And yes, it's got wings, but they're also mist, half-there but not.

(I like it! I like it!)

(Oh, phooey on youey. What's better about it? Just that the music is pretty and you don't get music when reading a book?)

(But anyway. Aren't Marla Schaffel (Jane) and James Barbour (Rochester) divine? And you don't hear a whole lot of Jayne Paterson (Helen) there, but she has one of my favorite female voices ever. I wish I could have seen her as Jane. And can you believe that the New York Times dared to call the music "high-minded schlock" when it did an article about every other Tony-nominated score that year? Yay still being bitter about a show where the theme is "Forgiiiiiiiveness!

*clings back and works on letters and hopes Michael has an envelope not of the size meant for headshots and resumes*)

(*nodnod!* Is she a mezzo? Blanche is a soprano. And I really like Helen. A lot. Mmmm.

...Oh, well. Gar. Can't win them all, I suppose. *hugs*

:D The illustrations were better than a small envelope.)

(I think Jane is a mezzo role, but Marla is anywhere from an alto to a soprano. Insane range. She was offered Christine in Phantom on Broadway, but turned it down because she didn't want to spend so much time in a trance. *g*

Have you read Daddy-Long-Legs? Cause Paul Gordon, the composer of Jane Eyre, is writing a Daddy-Long-Legs musical, and there's a demo available starring Jayne Paterson. Two demos, actually, but one isn't officially available. *coughs* You can get it here - I'd give it to you, but Paul Gordon made the site and the artists all get money when their music is sold I want to support him cause he's a great guy and such and even posts on the Jane Eyre message board. ...but I could possibly give you the unofficial demo. If you want it. And if you read the book. ;) It's very nice music and Jayne is amazing as always.

Critics are idiots. Hmph.

*snerks* I totally forgot about my illustrations. I just couldn't let all that empty space go to waste!)
