"Deep Within My Secret Soul..."

Oh! This year I'll be taking French at HACC. I'm finally old enough to go. Mum says maybe I could join a French club if I learnt the language all right, or made progress, at any rate, and then I wouldn't have to be alone, too. ^___^
I have flowers! But I shall pick vasesful to-morrow. We have so many cosmos and black-eyed susans. The cosmos have grown so big they're as thick around as my four fingers pressed together, and they're taller than me.
There is a new chick in the barn, but the hen hatched it up high in one of the shelves in the old tackroom, and it can't get down, and she isn't leaving it. Waen is going to put it down to-morrow, except then it is going to get eaten. This is why I think we must buy boxed chicks again. They're always so lovely, and that's how Waen got her tame Polish.
Charlie told me that when his mother worked at the post office, people would buy boxed chicks and then not come to pick them up. He said that she built a little chicken yard behind the post office for all the chicks, and they had their own eggs and meat from these chickens that were abandoned at the post office.
Eeeeee.
*fallsover* Tiiiiiiiired.
