You know, it only hurt a little when she drew blood, it wasn't the way it was when they gave me my TB shots for work, and then she put beautiful green tape around my arm to hold on the cotton...

Blood tests do tend to be less painful, I don't know if that's because they're taking out rather than putting in, or just because half-dead germs are not involved.

Whee, swirly skirt!

Congratulations on an easy bloodletting. ;) I had to get blood taken when I was twelve. It took something like a week, because I got hysterical whenever the needle started coming towards me. Eventually we went somewhere else to get it done, somewhere where there was this big strong guy who could hold me down (which is what I had been telling my mom we should try all along - I may be stupid about some things, but at least I'm sensibly stupid *g*).

^_^ Thank you! Yes, I was like that about all my shots, and when I had my mole removed and they tried to give me anesthesia and I squirmed and accidentally knocked the needle out of the nurse's hand and across the room... O_O Yeeek, Lillie. *clings*

In my dance history class, we watch a bunch of videos, and we have just gotten to the Age of the Swirly Skirt. So pretty!

I'm usually fine with shots - I guess it was just something about the whole, "Hi, we're gonna stick a needle in your arm and take your blood out!" thing. Yeuch. And oh, the things nurses have to deal with - the one I got was almost as hysterical as I was by the end of things, and ended up sticking the needle in the wrong place and therefore had to do it again. *dies*
