After lying awake for an hour and being thoroughly bored and also more cold in my room than I am here, decided just to get on for a little bit. I don't like not being able to sleep when I know I have to get up early for something terribly important the next day--

Pst - I'm watching that Twelfth Night I linked you to, and it's actually good! Malvolio's a little over the top, and Viola's a little happy, but most of the acting is good and there are good ideas and while there are cuts they're not too bad and Viola looks like a boy and Sir Andrew is not a total idiot and there is slashiness and silliness and yay!

There is Sebastian/Antonio (they hug! And so far, the "OMG I love you!" lines have not been cut!) and sortakinda Sir Andrew/Sir Toby (they hug too! And Sir Toby gives Sir Andrew a piggyback ride!). And "Cesario"/Orsino, which... kinda counts. *g* I'm only up to the "Come Away, Death" scene because I keep stopping to do something else and then getting distracted, but Viola and Orsino are on the chaise longue (the only piece of scenery, actually) and Orsino falls asleep on her and aaaaaaw. And during the willow cabin speech, Viola says, "...and make the babbling gossip of the air cry out 'OR- LIVIA!'" Orsino could be better, but he's fine. Feste... Feste has a big beard which makes him look like this guy from high school I don't like and had to play opposite so maybe I don't like him as much as I should, but he's good. And has a random girl who sings with him. Sir Andrew squeaks a lot (like, when Maria brings his hand to the "buttery bar"), and he capers very well, and he's kinda goofy but not over-the-top-ly so. I shall tell thee more when I do know't. *g*

And Sir Toby doesn't reject Sir Andrew at the end! He's all nice and stuff! Yaaaaay! (Although if he'd been mean, maybe Sir Andrew would have stayed onstage and Antonio could have danced with him instead of the priest... :P) Viola/Orsino can be so cuuuuuute. As can Sir Andrew, of course. *g* Random Girl didn't do anything but sing, she always stayed off to the side - no idea why she was there, but at least she sounded good. Though there is another Random Girl who does do stuff - Antonio rescues Sebastian from her. Or something like that.

...well, not anymore it isn't! Or wait, yes it is, it's just not the same tomorrow... tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...

AND YES! KIIIIIIIIIIISS! Ee! You really must see this - can you not play the file, or is it just a matter of time? If it's the file, I can probably put it on a CD and send it to you next time I venture into town. *g*

And speaking of "Well, that's what fanfic is for," back to my AU! Sebastian and Antonio have been stuck looking at Olivia's portrait for weeks now - I know what happens next, but I can't get there, waaaaaah!

Yes! It's beautiful! (...it's all explained here.) Okay, the deal with Sebastian. He enters. Random Girl enters from the opposite side of the stage. He sits down on the chaise longue. She looks like she's about to proposition him. Antonio enters. And uses very emphatic gestures to make Random Girl go away. She does. Sebastian can't see Antonio, so he's all confused and stuff (in other words, in his normal state). Antonio pounces Sebastian and says, "Boo!" Sebastian jumps up, ready to fight, but then he sees that it's Antonio and they huuuuuuuug and Sebastian makes very relieved noises. Then they start talking (one thing this production didn't really get is that a lot of the scenes start mid-conversation, so things sound a little awkward sometimes), and then SEBASTIAN KISSES ANTONIOOOOOOOOOOO!

How time marches on!

*sniffles* Did you go here and download the stuff it says you need to download? Maybe that'll work? The file's too big for a CD, but I think I can burn DVD's so if you still can't get it, I can eventually do that. I think. And if I can't, well, you'll just have to come watch it with me!

I finished one section! Here. And I'm going to get the next done before NaNoWriMo. Yes. I am. *hugpouncesback!*

Oh, and for his "OMG I'm crazy!" speech, Sebastian's getting off the chaise longue (where he has left Olivia sleeping) and buttoning his shirt. And then Olivia gets up and is adjusting her corset-shirt-thingy. And then the priest enters and he totally knows what was just going on and they get all cute and awkward.

...wait. If you can't play the file, that probably means that it wouldn't do much good if I sent it to you on CD anyway. Duh, Self. But I shall make the attempt with DVD, eventually. - Oh, if only we had not so many miles between us!
