So, quiz of the day!:

La! Yesterday, Mum and Waen and Da' and I finished the pumpkins. Mine is considerably not scary; Mum's, we have all decided, looks like a pig. ^_^ Da' is a pirate, and Waen's--Waen did two. One of Waen's is GINORMOUS and it has a ginormous big mouth full of teeth and a truly terrifying, hideous face, and in its mouth is another, smaller pumpkin. Yes. I expect to see Waen someday either in a correctional facility or as a massively successful comedian. Her other one is a Jekyll-and-Hyde pumpkin, with one side of its face evil and one side benign.

And also we made cookies, for her party to-day; and Mum and I finished all of my costume always excepting my moustache, which Waen has to procure--she's getting it from Falcon.

And my haiiir. Is black. Usually it's just very, very, very dark brown, but I couldn't find the proper sort of colour, so I just bought black instead, and I didn't think it would make too much of a difference! But it did, ahhh omg. Also when I was washing it out it ran all over my hands, so my palms are dyed quite black; and my shower is--well. If blood were black, it would look like the scene of a very gruesome murder.

I didn't know it would do that, honestly...!

At any rate. Mum gave us to-day off from school, thank Heaven, and I am finishing getting the house ready.

(Yes, yes, quite right. It's a matter of connoisseurship, of course, and come of the newer fellows won't agree, but in the end it's really the thing.)

(Quite. And, like most arts, full of neurotic folk who don't know when to stop with such little delicate details such as the single, striking '1'. You wouldn't believe how I've seen it botched in my time.)
