psalm_onethirtyone: (Hamlet [made by Nanni])

Bweeeeeee, I am updating from Zara's room, and I should be leaving for the bus station in twenty minutes but really that is quite long enough to make a very silly livejournal post (theoretically, although one never knows, of course)--despite the fact that we have just made a very silly livejournal post on her journal, but there you are.

--I win at run-on sentences, hi. ^____^;;;

So. OMG. I AM UPDATING FROM MISS ZARA'S ROOM, where I have about an hour ago missed my train home. She is apologising, but really she shouldn't be, because the chance to spend another hour and almost another hour again is not something that needs to be apologised for; it's actually a legitimate excuse for rejoicing. I am, however, behaving very ridiculously and continuing to type run-on sentences, which is why MISS ZARA MUST TYPE SOMETHING NOW HA. *shoves keyboard to the side*

*...pokes at keyboard* ...Hi? Hmm. I HAVE A SOUJIN IN MY ROOM OMG!!1 And no one else does. (...She's laughing... I wonder why...) She is a wonderful Soujin and will be ridiculous with me-- and I can guarantee that we are being absolutely ridiculous. The nonstop references to Shakespeare and discussions about Hamlet and Horatio that make no sense out of context just prove this. We wonder how many random people on the street were confused over our too-loud conversations. XD

...Yes. Also--yes. The fact that we went out for dinner last night and ran a conversation through the entire range of Things That Make No Sense Out of Context Really, such as discussing Hamlet and Horatio's floor plan for the house, their varying levels of ticklishness, their preferences in ice cream flavours, and what instruments they could respectively play. Also to-day had a very long discussion regarding their hypothetical non-existent adopted daughter ('Now, remember, dear, when your daddy Hamlet starts to shout at invisible things and rant about revenge, you go stay in the country with Uncle Forti or Uncle Ros. Oh, and don't mind Grandfather Hamlet--he comes through the walls all the time, but it's nothing to worry about. Oh! And never eat or drink anything Grandfather Claudius gives you. And don't bother your father Horatio while he's praying, dear'). We have decided that a hypothetical son would be... a very terrible idea. But. Yes.

And we watched Hamlet without sound last night, until three-thirty in the morning, and then read Marcia Williams Shakespeare and commented to each other on our character journals until six o'clock. (Actually, I must icon Marcia Williams Shakespeare. So much of it would make marvellous icons. Also Horatio has a moustache that, for once, looks good. Astounding.)

...I'm monopolising this post. This is terrible. ^___^;;;; But, but, but, oh. I had the most wonderful time in the world. So wonderful. I have not been this happy in ages, I truly haven't, and it's just absolutely amazing and she is so wonderful-- (hiIdon'twanttogohome) Gah. So wonderful. ;__; She gave me flowers. And just--most wonderful. <33333333

--All right. I shall make her post something as soon as she is off the telephone, and then I shall update. <3 This has been amazing.

Huzzah! I have (hopefully) finally secured us a cab. That will hopefully be slightly less late this time. In all of Pittsburgh, there appears to be only one taxi company in the Yellow Pages that still has a working number. At any rate, yay! And don't listen to Soujin-- I'm nothing special, but she is amazing. *...posts this before she can complain/edit, ha!*

there is nothing so special as someone to be ridiculous with. or as having a soujin in your room, i imagine, rawr -- ahem.

(and somewhere in my head ros is going eee! i'm an uncle?! :D :D ... XP sorry. nous vous adorons!)

I'faith, I should think not so. ^________^ *pounceclings* So sorry we couldn't work out telephoning, though. 'Twould have been lovely indeed.

(Indeed! There was also 'And don't mind Uncle Guil; he loves you no matter what he says'--and somewhere in my head, Hamlet is going '...children?', but that's neither here nor there.)

ay, 'twould, but alack -- i have the management skills of of a small rodent, and so missed the chance to have two wonderful girls on the telephone. actually, i think small rodents probably have decent management skills. -- i'm glad you two had so much fun, though -- rodents aside -- :3

(-- that's so funny because it's so true. and i'm happy to hear guil didn't get out of being a nuncle. -- and -- XD XD XD hi, hamlet.)

Rodents aside, ay (a side of rodents?-- but again, neither here nor there), you and I shall still have to talk sometime soon, as it is a travesty that we have not. And eeeee, so, so much fun. DANISH CHRISTMAS BREAD (I still say that's redundant) and DANISH TEA CAKES (with SPRINKLES) and A SKULL and GEMS and dinner at an Indian restaurant and staying up until six after watching Hamlet with no sound (but knowing where all the important lines were said anyway)(and ohmygod, you need to see Campbell Scott's Hamlet, if you haven't already. Hamlet is stark raving and Horatio is perfect. He looks so terrified as Hamlet is dying and nearly cries, save that Forti arrives) and all our DF!talk. We suspect random people heard bits of lines such as "We appreciated Hamlet's sparkly doublet. He has a dress like that.," "Hamlet has bad taste," and "Horatio likes teaberry ice cream!".

(Oh, no, Ros and Guil are totally the uncles that the girl gets sent to when Hamlet's in particularly bad shape! And Ros would have "entertain the baby with shiny things while Horatio flails" duty. --he's gone back to pretending not to know what we've been discussing all day.)

one wonderful girl on the phone is more than enough, i wager -- but oh. i adore you two. so much. you've taken the love of a play all way through the madness into utter awesomeness and danish tea services. i saw dansk cookies yesterday and thought of you -- i think that's all ready been brought up before, actually. (indian restaurants are always nice, too!) (and flowers, and sparkly things!) (and skulls!) (and i really want to see campbell scott's hamlet. ;_;) (but imagining the utter confusion of those people delights me --) (is this enough parantheses in a row yet?) (speaking of dresses, girl!ros fell in love with in love with this site yesterday. it's somewhat unsettling.) (whee.)

(awww. :3 theoretical danish domestic life is so sweet -- ! in a mad sort of way, but that goes without saying.)

I should think so, and I shall have you, so we shall be even (though surely, I get the better of the deal). We've done horrible, horrible things to said play, as you can no doubt tell. (hypothetical children) Eeee, dansk cookies! The danish baking Soujin brought is so, so good. We are very happy. (So, so very happy.) (You have to see it; it's been my favourite film version of Hamlet for a while. It's wonderful but wonderfully painful with the Dane in my head.)(parentheses!)

(Quite mad. XD But we'd imagine they'd be sweet when they weren't trying to contain the madness and upset from their little blonde yet-unnamed daughter... I mean.)

oh, but i'm only me and you're you and as is we're not even, but rather odd (you're the wonderful one, and one is odd -- i sound like my puppet again. or like any ridiculous shakespearean character. no die but an ace for you -- !) you've done wonderful, horrible things, and ee, soujin-baking (danish style!) and ee, happiness. (and ee, parantheses) (i want to, i want to. i just have figure out where to get it --)

(oh, and it's a little blonde daughter, is it? -- she sounds sweet. theoretically. even if she's destined to a life of madness -- but uncle ros will be quite happy, if he can color with her and show her pretty physics experiments, and ee --)

I would rather talk to you than me any day, my dear, and that's that, I'm afraid. And I am odd, and I think it's safe to say that we're odd. XD Everything's about Hamlet and when it's not, we make it about Hamlet. (pretty!) (the video rental stores out here have it-- and oh, Ros has a bowtie and it's the silliest, cutest thing.)

(It is, not that we'd discuss any such thing. She would be properly Nordic and so look nothing like her fathers. --and awww, I'm sure that would be arranged.

i'd rather talk nonsense not to myself than -- wait. yes, yes, we're very very odd -- and the two of us odd, so oddly even. and that, my dears, is why you're brilliant (crazy). (i'll have to look, by which i mean beg -- bowtie! :D :D he is very pleased by this.)

(ooh. ee. :3)

Ahh, you sound so happy!!! :D :D :D

-- I wish I could have a Soujin in my room, but my room is a large trash can for all the things I can no longer fit/want to see in my workspace in the office. ;__;!

-- And my mother is still paranoid, and I apparently can't talk her out of it. ;_________________;

But! Since you're in PA anyway, next time you happen by the Lehigh Valley, give me a shout and I can meet you!!! (And show you around our spectacularly unspectacular area, especially since I just moved her a few years ago and still have no idea where I live. -__-;)

:D :D *sends love and cookies and pie and ... pumpkins*

I'm so jealous of you two! And Fortinbras is rather pleased that he's thought highly enough of to be an uncle, though he's still not sure about the nickname. *g*
