...And starting to-day, Christmas is no longer offencive. When I'm home from work, I'll post.

I have far too much to do to-day, and quite nothing interesting to say. Alas, etc.

Only I'm going to rent Hamlet from the library to-day, and promised to watch Kiss me Kate with Da', and Mum and Waen are away; they've gone to their pretentious horse festival in Philadelphia. ^_~ They won't be back until to-morrow. This mostly translates as me being able to be online to-night until essentially five o'clock, whee. Also that I can listen to all the music Waen hates.

And now I must get off and shelve, and start making lists of everything I've got to do, so I don't forget--

But I'm still very happy, you know. Feeling a lot better to-day than I have been at other times this week. I've got some things sorted out. (Also, I've found I can wear a dress I bought in July. That's always nice, isn't it? It's very pretty--it's got ruffles. and pockets.)

--Work.

I'll ask Da' and see what we can do about that. ^__^ He liked it, I think. He saw the actual production, he says. -- Yes, well. >_> Merchant is issues. but the Mel Gibson Hamlet is very, ah, entertaining, at least. :D (eeeee. What did you think, then?)

Working on that..!

I saw the touring production of that revival (twice, actually), and loved it. The Lilli and Lois I saw are in the video. *g* - I'm watching Mel Gibson right now (paused during "To be or not to be," actually) and yes, entertaining. I rather like the cast, aside from Mel Gibson. Alas. And what is up with Claudius's hair? On top of his head it's brown, but his beard is gray...? They didn't have hair dye back then, did the? And if they did, I feel like Claudius would be smart enough to dye his beard, too. :P Also, why must Helena Bonham Carter be so beautiful? No fair. (Although, ahem, that casting totally works with my Olivia-is-really-Ophelia! theory. *whistles innocently*) (I liiiiiked!)

Good!

Eeeee, nifty. -- *snerks* Yes. Well. He went grey early (usually, you know, it's the other way around; men's hair tends to grey before their beards do). --I know. ;_________; Gah. (I--what's this now?)

(Oh, I've definitely told you about that one. *g* Way back when I first started Twelfth Night, I think. I was thinking about how Ophelia and Olivia both lost their father and brother, and then I decided that Ophelia didn't really drown, she just floated to Illyria [...or maybe got on a ship at some point], which was actually her home. She was expecting Laertes to join her, but obviously, he didn't, so she went into mourning. And changed her name. Er.)
