The frog is just called the Frogman. Hee. As for evil pairings, there's some guy who wrote a whole bunch of books where Ozma falls in love with and marries what is probably a Gary Stu. I haven't read said books, so I don't know for sure, but just the thought of Ozma being married is rather icky (...pay no attention to that girl-who-once-made-up-a-brother-for-Ojo-so-he-could-marry-Ozma behind the curtain). And he does his own illustrations, too, and they're bad.
