"A Stranger With Your Doorkey..."

Er-- hello. ^_^
I'm wearing my hair all pinned up to-day. I think I have nine pins in, and it's still not really doing the trick. And, imagine, this is when my hair is short like this! When it grows all the way out again, I shan't be able to do a thing with it. But I do want it to be long enough to braid again. I'd like to have a braid.
Sort of Hamlet song? If you squint at it and ignore the first lyric? ^_~
And this is my Ophelia/Horatio song... um. Shhh.
I am not sure I have anything else to say. I strung basil leaves to-day to hang over the stove, with pink thread; and tried to organise a little of the spice cabinet. We have pretty things in the spice cabinet.
Mum loves the Postal Service. I made her a CD of all the songs I have. ^_^;;;
--Oh, and I organised my socks on the desperateWiki to-day! Yes. Since it's all outdated--but now it's fixed. ^__^ So perhaps I have not been utterly useless to-day...

I say, you're quite--I say, I have purple band-aids, and I'm wearing one on my arm even though I haven't a cut. I just like the colour.
...I say, I rather love you.

Date: 2006-01-24 04:39 am (UTC)ros: *smiles a bit, surprisingly blase about being smelled* oh? it does sound like a nice color, i suppose -- am i like bandaids, miss?
... which one?
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-25 02:15 am (UTC)^___________^ a little. Mostly you just smell lovely, though.
UNUS NAUTA...! Both.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-25 11:24 pm (UTC)ros: oh -- i don't know about that. but then, i don't suppose i've ever checked, have i? but i don't know about that.
:D :D :P silly.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-26 02:53 am (UTC)Haven't you ever checked? You do--lovely--salt and cinnamon.
Well, yes. Tria ex septum cives, tria cives, septum cives, septum ex civibus.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-26 04:09 am (UTC)ros: i don't think i've ever had salt and cinnamon together, at that. are you sure it's lovely?
latin again -- maybe that's the class ros is trying to get guil to skip --
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-26 04:59 pm (UTC)Very sure. ^__________^
--If he is, it's very sensible of him--
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-27 12:57 am (UTC)ros: i suppose i shall have to try it sometime, then. but, what ought i try it on? i can think of things that are good with salt, and things that are good with cinnamon, but what's good with both?
it's truancy, miss soujin. i can hear him now -- "well, it's a dead language, anyhow, isn't it -- i mean. we don't have to learn about dead people, do we? other than in histories, i mean --"
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-28 03:25 am (UTC)Pie must be. Doesn't one add salt and cinnamon to pies? I always leave it out, but I'm a little silly and don't follow recipes properly--
Oh, dear, is it? Well, I wasn't--oh,dear, but, it's not really a dead language...! It's only that the people who speak it fluently are mostly dead...! But. But. Who wouldn't want to be able to say 'Quid nova?'?
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-28 03:53 am (UTC)ros: well, there you are, then -- i've never followed any recipes at all, i don't think, unless there was someone standing there and telling me to. i must be terribly deprived. but oh, you wouldn't leave me out, would you?
wasn't what? wasn't trying to be a bad influence? (butbutbut wittenberg is such a pretty town ... ! ... say that in latin.)
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-28 07:57 pm (UTC)I would not! You can bake a pie with me if you'd like, and I should give you the recipe and not say a word (it's very hard to do anything wrong with a pie, of course, so they're the best if you've not followed a recipe before)...!
Something along those lines...? (Sedsedsed Wittenberg multa bella urbem est? :D :D...!)
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-29 01:02 am (UTC)ros: well, you may have to say a word, if you're to give me the recipe -- i may not know which bits to follow. or which bits not to follow, at that --
a likely story! (-- ooh. hey, maybe this latin's not so bad.)
(no subject)
Date: 2006-01-29 01:04 am (UTC)Well, I should say a word, if you didn't mind, but the recipes are very easy and I should help with the oven and bring the aprons and those sort of things.
;________; Do you doubt me? (Latina est gaudium et utilus! :D :D)

Date: 2006-01-29 02:01 am (UTC)ros: oh, i shouldn't mind at all, i don't think. mostly i'd like the company, i think.
... *breaks* i could never doubt you, dearest ~ (... c'est vrai.)
