Magic, I think. Both of which I fail at reading just yet. *is ded and awful*
...hateyou.
Roquat's throwing a tantrum again, which is obvious because of the Nomes being flung unceremoniously out of his throne room. Kaliko sighs and goes in, hiding behind a root to avoid the Nome hurled at his head, and then clears his throat.
Eeeeee, Bungle! Bungle who does not love Bucky and Bustopher! And crackplots! Eeeee!
...GACK.
The Tin Woodsman gallantly took them all out walking, while Scraps danced out rhymes and the Scarecrow gazed at her and admired them wisely. The Scarecrow's wisdom had always amazed the Tin Woodsman.
When they found themselves stopped in front of a stream, for water agreed with none of them, he turned to his friend for help.
"Why, we shall sit here," said the Scarecrow. "Obviously we are meant to go no further."
"If where you are means what you should do, then when you are could mean that, too," Scraps cried.
"What should we do?" the Tin Woodsman enquired politely.
In a flurry of coloured cloths and calico, Scraps pounced them both.
...hah, I totally read that as "Who does not love Bungle and Bucky and Bustopher?" *needs new glasses, apparently* But, yes, Bungle! With pink brains, because Baum forgot he had the wizard replace them!
...GACK?
And eeeeee! Brainless and heartless cuteness! And I will stop making you write silly Oz things now. *g* (...gaaaah, I just reminded myself of the Silly OZbuls. Those were invented by L. Frank Baum's great-grandson (or something like that?), and he's one of those not-so-cool Oz fans.)
...fine, next time I'll let you stick to Scraps/Scarecrow.
(...they're fluffy pink bouncy things that can't talk and randomly appear in Oz! *hasn't actually read about the Silly OZBuls for years, but faults of memory don't make them any less stupid*)

"Your Royal--"
"Oh, it's you. All right, fine, come in."
Kaliko manages a smile.

Date: 2006-03-29 12:21 am (UTC)...actually, now that I think about it, there are two plots in that book and they're both awfully cracky. Heh.
...loveyou! And since you handled the evil so well, I will now be nice. *g* Scraps/Scarecrow/Tin Man, water?
