Two things!

One: Sunset Boulevard is the most frightening film I have ever seen. Daddy and I decided to go for Damn Yankees over Cuckoo's Nest, because we are both traumatised. Eeeeeesh.

Two: I forgot to mention! ^_^ Christine named my eating disorder Ed. She keeps gesturing and saying things like, "But you can't listen to Ed! Ed lies all the time! He lies to everybody. You need to learn to listen to yourself, because you know more than Ed," and it makes me giggle every single time. It's perfectly logical, but I still find it hilarious, because I fail.

I think I shall go to bed early to-night. I am most dreffle tired, and I have to get up early to-morrow, too, as am working again, and, in the afternoon, helping Daddy to plant the field, since he did indeed get it tilled. We are so good together.

now what do Norma Desmond ever do to you? (besides be batshit insane and shoot Joe Gillis, but you're neither Joe nor Betty nor the chimp for that matter, so it shouldn't be a big deal. And the musical is one of ALW's best, dammit. Even if it needs to cut the sung transitions and I could do without the whole buying suits scene as it just runs like a rerun of Rainbow High from Evita even though the scene is in film canon and even though it's hard to completely hate a song that includes the line "You know what you can do with your vicuna".)

Frightened me with her frightening eyes, she did. (I do not see how anybody could ever make a musical of that film, ever.)
