"The Book of Love has Music in it..."
Jun. 21st, 2006 09:58 pmDon't behave as though you're so surprised. ^__^ You knew it was coming.
Find herein a picspam of some of Soujin's very favourite film stars. For maximum viewing pleasure, we invite you to listen to any or all of the following songs:
I Won't Dance, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
A Fine Romance, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
Far Away Places, Bing Crosby.
Sioux City Sue, Bing Crosby.
Let's Fall in Love, Nat King Cole.
Mack the Knife, Bobby Darin.
Don't Dream of Anybody But Me, Bobby Darin.
Where or When, Frank Sinatra.
Dancing in the Dark, Fred Astaire.
You're Easy to Dance With, Fred Astaire.
Skylark, Glenn Miller.
We'll start off with Cary Grant, shall we? Observe, if you will.

^____^ So pretty.
My favourite actress is awfully hard to choose, but I deeply adore Priscilla Lane. She has such a wonderful smile.

(She also looks terribly sweet when Cary Grant is harassing her.)
But what about Ginger Rogers?

As a side note, this is the dress that made Fred Astaire shout at her.
At any rate--Humphrey Bogart! With the first picture you get Audrey Hepburn, too, as a bonus. ^_~

Scruffy! ^______^

And of course there's no forgetting Soujin's all time favourite actor ever in the history of ever--Peter Lorre! Applause, please.

And even though I'm not speaking to him at the moment, the glorious and talented Fred Astaire:

Bing Crosby? ♥

Peter Ustinov. <33333333 He's the one on the far right with the sweet face and blue hatband. The one who isn't Humphrey Bogart.

AUDREY HEPBURN.

Grace Kelly!

Leslie Caron (ignore Gene Kelly...! I'm not at all fond of Gene Kelly. at all):

Doris Dowling.

...And we'll just fill you in with a bit more Cary Grant, shall we?

(From My Favourite Wife, actually.)

(looking stern while dressed in leopard print is impossible.)
Thank you for your participation; we hope you enjoyed the show. ^__________^

(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-23 01:31 am (UTC)-- tsk. i should go know something about them, is that what you're saying?
werewolf says something about loving you for sentimental reasons, but i think he's just singing. ;P
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-23 02:35 am (UTC)I think so. :D
Demon says he's very pleased. Da!, he says. Da mihi!
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-23 03:04 am (UTC)good advice. :D
werewolf wants to know who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip? and he asks it very seriously.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-23 03:38 am (UTC)Demon says it must be him, since he's the dip.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-23 03:46 am (UTC)well! werewolf will be taking demon by the waist and dipping him, then.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-23 04:01 am (UTC)In that case, Demon will be v. awfully pleased, and probably lean back as far as he can before pulling himself back up and spinning Wreck. Just because he can.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-23 09:10 pm (UTC)^___^ as soon as wreck's done spinning, he'll be smirking and singing a little fred astaire in your ear, demon.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 02:09 am (UTC)Demon is enjoying it far more than he ought.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 02:22 am (UTC)wreck's glad to please. :3 for once.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 02:44 am (UTC)Ahaha. They have such a peculiar relationship. ^^
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 02:48 am (UTC)they're very peculiar people, that's true. ask anyone wreck has ever met. :P
you know, 'where or when' strikes me as a v. sappy ros/guil song. ... just me, is it? sorry.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 03:03 am (UTC)I daresay I needn't...!
It's not just you. ^_^

(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 03:33 am (UTC)Demon's track record isn't any better.

(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 05:12 am (UTC)and they'll all end up in hell, says wreck, but he says it grinning, and then he goes off on a tangent quoting 'the wasteland.'
time/space, the word is 'confused,' go -- -- -- -- nah.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 08:57 pm (UTC)Demon finds this sexy, but this is probably because he already is in hell. He will just start quoting from Cicero.
...ooooh, let me see, let me see--
Time is a harlot, always moving about in a shimmering gown, winking as she flashes by. Space looks after her in adoring confusion, spreading herself over everything, never catching up.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-06-24 11:29 pm (UTC):D :) perfect for each other, aren't they?
