I am a dreffle shallow person, but I have seen Hotel Rwanda once and I never, never want to see it again, which is why my headphones are on and my music is so loud it hurts my ears. >_> I do not care. Never again. (We watched it at Sewanee. Emma said, 'hey, we have the afternoon off! let's make some popcorn and get a movie and watch it!' And lo, we let her pick the movie, and this is the one she picked. And after that we swore never to let her pick the movie ever, ever again. Ever.)

In any case. ^_^ I biked to chem to-day! Because Waen said if it was close enough to bike, I wasn't allowed to use the car. So. On the way home I stopped at the park and used the swings. I love swings. Also I got to talk to Nanni, who is wonderful. ^________^

And then I wrote a birthday card for Joanie, who is this lovely old lady from Juniata--she's turning seventy...! And I read Hercule Poirot, which makes me squee helplessly. I am utterly mad for him. First literary crush, as a matter of fact...! Used to write him love poems. Cried for a week when he died. Oh, me, I am pathetic in love.

To-morrow I lose my toenails for reals. Dr. Viktorrr's office left a message that goes 'Hello, this is from Dr. Viktorrr's office to remind you that Soujin has an appointment to-morrow at three-thirty IN HALIFAX'. >_> Yes. She emphasised it.

But I am quite well to-day. Silly as usual, but quite well. And I love you exceptionally.

EDIT OMG: I got Cali so high to-day. She slept in my room all day. She kept waking up and looking over at me with her eyes narrowed and then falling back over and going back to sleep. It was rilly funny. ^_^;;;;;; Thank you for the catnip, Zara.

Oh man, I'm so jealous you got to use the swings. I love the swings!!!

Did you know that Tension Tamer tea from Celestial Seasonings has catnip in it? I always found that odd...

^_____^ Me toooo. Our park is brand-new and shiny and hardcore; it has slides, monkeybars, swings and a small basketball court where Waen and I used to place tennis.

Really? Something else to drug her with...!

Did you ever hear the song by Cream (the band Eric Clapton was in) called Anyone for Tennis? It's such a happy little song, and perfect to listen to before you actually go to play tennis.

No, I've not ever. Of course, we stopped playing because she doesn't want to any more, but.

It's related to mint! Apparently the same chemical that works on cats also acts as a sedative to humans.
