--All letters will be written to-morrow, as I have not the strength to do it to-day. My kitty is on my lap snuggling, it's almost time for dinner, and I want to sleep for fourteen hours. Also I have a chem quiz to-morrow that I cannot fail or I shall die. I'm not capable of being coherent, which is probably sort of obvious.

...I think I need to go rake leaves or something soothing.

In any case, I'm home, I'm alive, and I had the most. wonderful. time.

So I took your text to my composition lesson and LL likes it but... he wants more verses. O_o I was not expecting that, but whatever. ^^

Here is my best attempt at reproducing what he wrote on the page I printed it out on:

So, uhh... does that make any sense at all? :o "V" means verse and "Ref." means refrain. I think what he intends is to keep the first and last lines the same for each verse.

Also, do you know yet when you can come to Vespers? My family is coming Friday the 1st, not Saturday like I said, so I have four tickets for Saturday the 2nd and four for Sunday the 3rd. Someone my dad works with wants tickets, so they'll take whichever day you don't. If neither day works for you, let me know and tell me one that does (the other ones are Friday through Sunday of the next weekend) and I'll send an annoying e-mail to the whole campus begging someone to trade with me (it should work). My dad wants me to be able to give him the tickets for his coworker on Saturday when he's here, so if you could possibly tell me before then? that would rock.

Okay! Although--the first line the same is fine, but the last line of the verse--I could work with it, it's a little unwieldy, but wouldn't he prefer a bit of variation? In any case, I can do that. No problem.

What I meant by first and last lines is the first and last lines of what you wrote--the separately-bracketed stuff. "Grant us peace, God; grant us love" and "Winter comes. God, grant us peace, grant us love."
