Okay! For Twitchy, who obviously I love within an inch of myself--and for anyone else on my flist into Canadian Arthurian Geek Music (...um. Kali, Zara, Steph, Luisa...?)--here is Heather Dale's Trial of Lancelot.
Lily Maid. Elaine hearts Lance. Lance could care less. Is a v. pretty song with beautiful words, and I listen to it over and over. And squee.
Trial of Lancelot. Kay: He's a prick.
Gawain: But not an awful one.
Tristam: I love someone's wife, too!
Galahad: KILL HIM. >:(
Lancelot: I DON'T CAAAAARE WHAT YOU SAAAAAAAY. I SLEPT WITH HER ANYWAAAAAAAY.
Miles to Go. Gwen hearts Lance. But not that much! Also gorgeous. <3
The Prydwen Sails Again. One of Culhwch's tasks of crazy, actually. Suitably crazy, and slightly creepy, and wonderful is many ways of wonderful.
Mordred's Lullabye. Morgause hates everybody, so Mordred should, too! Logic, see? <3 This is the song Twitchy first posted that made me fall in love with Heather Dale and seek her out.
Hawthorn Tree. It is appropriate that the word 'sex' is in this link. >_> The Beguiling of Merlin. The creepy, sexy, amazingly lovely beguiling of Merlin.
Culhwch and Olwen. Culhwch's first task of crazy, in which Modron is referred to as Mabon's father. :D Also, just listen to it and savour all the Welsh names. It's--so much fun. <3333 Bweeeee.
Tarnished Silver. Lance hearts Gwen. Unfortunately, she's dead. So he makes vague sexual metaphors that leave Soujin giggling.
Measure of a Man. Arthur's funeral pyre, complete with nifty artistic wood crackling in the background. I find it slightly sad that this song is not called 'Why Did We Keep on Bothering After This?'.
So. Yes. <3 Please to enjoy and not report me to the authorities.
