To-day I got things done somewhat, and also got attacked by a Confederate reenactor from Maryland who talked about social injustice and manufactured slavery.

And talked to a boy whose great-grandfather had been in the civil war, and got his leg taken off by Confederate soldiers because they were trying to take his boots. And they couldn't get them off. So they pulled his leg off.

And war is always atrocious.

Dang that's really gross! Just for boots? *makes note to self to never wear boots again* In Maryland? Did you visit Antiedam? I've been there twice!

Well, yes. It was pretty common to be stealing boots during the Civil War whatever the price. Murgh. --Nope, I've never been anywhere but Baltimore. What's it like?

Oh, I can be so stupid. Was the reenacter visiting where you live? hmm...Well, it's pretty boring where I live... The only thing that is of notice is the redistricting for highschool is disgustingly stupid and the old part of our city which was built in like the 1700's. All the shops are so quaint and nice, and it's by a river... We go through there alot! Of course, it os close to Washington an dbaltimore, so it make sup for it. Baltimore is pretty cool though, with the science center, and lots of nice doctors, and pretty architecture, and amazing violin shops, and the concert hall for Peabody, and the Lyric Opera House and the BSO and the Myerhoff... okay I'll stop now *grins madly* My dad works in Washington (Not one of those if-I-tell-you-I'll-have-to-kill-you jobs!) It's nice there too! What's it like where you live?

Nanana, not stupid. *pokes gently* Yes! He was visiting the Civil War museum with his group. --Ooo, that's really neat, and it sounds pretty. <33 Baltimore has the AQUARIUM OF LOVE. Also we go there to see the operas. XD re: your dad's job. It sounds nice...! Well, I live in the middle of the central Penn state countryside, so there're a lot of farms around me and family-owned stores and neat things like that. We're in the process of moving to Oriental, which is Mennonite country, and even further away from civilisation than the place we currently live.

you are lying to yourself *pokes back* I love the aquarium with the rainforest and sharks, but my mother-unit hates watching fish, so she doesn't take us *sulks* Operas are fun! We are playing opera music for my orchestra (Maryland Youth Symohony Orchestra) My crazy italian conductor would tell you you're going to heaven for listeneing to opera! (Apparently I'm going to heaven too, according to him *beams*) Oooh! farms! Does that mean cows? hmm... I don't know much about Mennoniesm but Amish people are rilly cool!

Nope! -Zomg, I know, it's just the most amazing thing. Guh. That's too bad. And opera really is awesome, although some of them are less awesome than others, as with everything, of course. XD (Well, win. XD) Yep! Although we only have horses and chickens now, we're going to have pigs on our new one. Mennonites are like Amish only moreso.

I think the moral of the story is never wear boots.

No, but for real. That's grotesque.

Clearly.

The other thing is that the great-grandfather actually survived. He was unconcious at the time of the boot-thieving, and the pain woke him up and he managed to crawl off the battlefield to safety.

Isn't all slavery manufactured, really? No one's naturally a slave.

Stupid war.

This is true; it was sort of an obscure way of saying slavery as a result of factories and manufacturers.

I know.
